About this experience

Student life brings exciting opportunities, but it can also involve academic pressure, uncertainty, social expectations, and emotional challenges. “Student Wellbeing & Stress Resilience” is an interactive session designed to help students better understand stress, recognise how it affects their thoughts, emotions, behaviour, and performance, and respond to challenges in healthier ways.

The session introduced practical coping strategies that students can use to manage pressure, improve focus, regulate emotions, and build resilience. Through relatable insights and evidence-based guidance, participants learnt how everyday habits, self-awareness, and timely support can contribute to stronger emotional wellbeing and academic confidence.

The session was facilitated by Ms. Teena Johnson, a Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist, and Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Psychology at TREDA. She brings extensive experience in mental health assessment, psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, and psychological education. Her empathetic and accessible approach helps make complex psychological and neurological concepts meaningful for diverse audiences.
